We are now looking for a support educator for the department of Children, Youth, and Adults, operations within LSS and SoL.

HERE ARE YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support educator, you have an overarching responsibility for the pedagogical work, quality development, social documentation, and method guidance in the relevant operations. You work with the development and quality work of the operations where your main task is to be a role model, convey knowledge, develop, follow up, and spread pedagogical methods in the operations.

You ensure quality in the work and are responsive to the users' needs. You are placed directly in the operations and work administratively as needed. Together with other support educators and coordinators, you are responsible for ensuring that all users are given the opportunity for development, participation, and self-determination according to applicable laws.

You plan for the operations in a structured way under the leadership of the manager and plan finances and expenses within the available limitations. You always represent the employer regardless of the context and you work for a functioning and creative collaboration between the operations and colleagues.

Together with other support educators, it is your responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient availability among the support educators during vacation periods, in case of illness, and similar situations.

Common tasks include:

• Ensuring collaboration between all executing actors that are significant to the operational area
• Receiving new assignments from coordinators/managers and informing employees, assisting with introduction and implementation
• Collaborating and providing feedback on general needs such as method support and competence needs to coordinators and/or managers
• Developing and being a support for employees regarding clarifying pedagogy and other methods and approaches that benefit the individual's self-determination and well-being
• Internal training
• Supporting the development of social documentation, the establishment of implementation plans, and follow-up and quality assurance of these

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO:

• Have a vocational college education as a support educator which includes at least 200 YH points.
• Express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, have good computer skills.
• Have experience with clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses as these constitute a large part of the daily work.
• Have a B driver's license.

WHAT WE VALUE HIGHLY

If you have additional post-secondary education in the field of disabilities and/or experience working with people with disabilities/permanent mental disabilities and psychiatry.
